For black tea, English Afternoon Tea and Earl Grey are my favorites. Crabtree & Evelyn used to carry high quality English teas. Too bad they stopped because tea in the U. S. is really not that popular.

清代江澄云《素壶便录》记述：“黄山有云雾茶，产高山绝顶，烟云荡漾，雾露滋培，其柯有历百年者，气息恬雅，芳香扑鼻，绝无俗味，当为茶品中第一。又有一种翠雨茶，亦产黄山，托根幽壑，色较绿，味较浓，香气比云雾稍减，亦轶出松萝一头。”另有《黄山志》载：“莲花庵旁就石隙养茶，多轻香，冷韵袭人断腭，谓之黄山云雾。......云雾茶，山僧就石隙微土间养之，微香冷韵，远胜匡庐。”据考证，黄山云雾即为黄山毛峰的前身。

昨天看电视（东方卫视？）， 碰巧两位主持人正眉飞色舞地介绍冬令美食--“胡适一品锅”。其中一位女主持人戏谑地说：胡适先生一生主张“西化”，但在吃（火锅）上却一贯坚持“本地化”（大意）:D；接着，男主持人解释道：所谓“一品”，这里是指“质量高”......
请教各位，可否将“一品”译为“first-rate, first-class，high-quality....”？

真正的西湖龙井极品, 杭州也难买到。有次回国跟了茶叶研究所的茶博士去为绍兴附近的新开张茶馆剪彩，一阵震耳欲聋的鞭炮后，八仙桌上作上宾坐定，一样样尝过来，确实清香满口。当地人说我们绍兴地区“新昌龙井”也不比你们“西湖龙井”差。两三个小时下来，牛皮越吹越大，笑话越讲越多，尝到“黄山毛峰”，“兰溪毛峰” 后，发觉自己只有用水龙头将脸冲一冲，对着镜子照一照那一刹间才能冷静一会儿，桌上果盘瓜子一端来又是下一轮牛皮笑话......

本来倒是没想到这一层,我只是说接连喝浓茶喝多了兴奋得不能自控,尤其是大家围了桌子说笑,可pk兄这一提醒, 再看Betty从网上载录的“ Maofeng”, 还真犯忌諱了。主席晚年有个知交叫张什么来着?
翻译，翻译， 翻你个什么译？这种明明该用意译的竟敢偏偏用音译。是不是跟我们伟大领袖过不去？文革中这种翻译不被人家一巴掌嘴巴扇歪才怪呢， 看你这辈子发音还发不发得准！
