That first image of yours reminds me a little bit of Lake Champlain. Back in 1998~99, I had to make a few trips to Burlington, Vermont. On one occasion I stayed at the Radisson Hotel, which is now a Hilton, BTW. It offered an incredible view of Lake Champlain.

I love the Northeast. New Hampshire and Maine were a bit too much out of the way for me; otherwise while living in the Mid Hudson Valley, I would have been to every state in that part of the country.

Beautiful New England Aug 13, 2011

Steve,

I’ve been to a number of places in New York State, such as Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Rochester, not to mention New York City. However, I’ve never been to Lake George. I am sure it’s very beautiful, especially in the fall, like other places in all New England States.
