failed to export TermBase

When I try to export a TermBase from the TermBases window selecting the option
Export terminology, I receive an error :

The requested task could not be completed. Internal application error .

TYPE: System.ArgumentNullException
MESSAGE: Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: path1

I want to export the termbase to be able to make searches in it from Xbench
