Source text - English Read the instruction and keep them safe. Remove all packaging, but keep it till you are satisfied the kettle is working.
Important safeguards
1. Don't put the kettle, stand, cable, or plug in any liquid; don't use the kettle in a bathroom, near water, or outdoors.
2. This kettle must only be used under the supervision of a responsible adult.
3.Don't touch hot surfaces. Use the handle.
4. Don't open the lid while the water is heating.
5. Pour slowly, and don't over-tilt the kettle.
6. The scald hazard lasts long after boiling. Keep the kettle, stand, and cable away from the edges of worktops and out of reach of children.
7. Route the cable so it does not overhang and can't be caught accidentally or tripped over. Wind excess cable veneath the stand.
8. Unplug the stand when not in use, before moving and before cleaning. Let the kettle cool down fully before cleaning and storing away.
9. Check the lid is properly closed before switching the kettle on, otherwise it may not switch off.
10. Check the kettle is properly located on the stand before switching on.
11. Don't switch on unless the kettle contains at least 2 cups of water.
12. Don't fill past max, or it may spit boiling water.
13. Don't use the kettle without the filter fitted - it could spit boiling water.
14. Remove the kettle from its stand before filling or pouring.
15. Keep the kettle, stand, cable, and plug away from sources of heat.
16. Use the kettle only for heating water.
17. Use the kettle only with the stand supplied (and vice versa).
18. Don't use the kettle if it's damaged or malfunctions. If the stand or cable is damaged, replace the stand, in order to avoid hazard.
