Hi

For understanding and appreciating Alejo Carpentier - It is necessary to understand a term called " Real Maravilloso" ( Marvellous reality.

And similarly for Marquez- It is important to understand " Realismo Magico" - Magic realism.

I believe there is great difference between both the concepts, and in literature they may be very new style of writing for Latin America or west, but for India, it is available since ancient ages, in epics and religious text

I believe there is great difference between both the concepts, and in literature they may be very new style of writing for Latin America or west, but for India, it is available since ancient ages, in epics and religious texts or in day to day life in villages. Wonders always happen in India " Hanuman carrying Mountains" or Ganesha drinking milk in temples are burning examples.
