My name is Magdalena Bartnik and I'm an English-Polish freelance translator with 13 years of experience. Since 2010, I have been working for both agencies and private clients, specialising in legal, marketing, and literary translations. From legal contracts to poems, academic papers to website localizations - I always do my best to find the perfect touch.

Legal

I've translated countless contracts, terms and conditions, and other legal documentation. Together with a lawyer, we run a company offering legal and translation services so I can always consult any unusual legal problems with an expert. 

Business

Every business needs content with not just a professional but also a natural feel to it. I have experience in translating websites, blogs, marketing texts, and interviews.

Literary

I completed postgraduate studies in Literary translation in English at Jagiellonian University (2010). Since then I translated poetry and prose from Polish to English and English to Polish.  

Other

I graduated in sociology at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and have translated multiple academic papers ranging from literature studies, and architecture to microbiology.
