Some customers may comment that during an extended drive (approximately 240 km (150 mi), the fuel gauge will indicate empty.

Technicians may find XXX set.

Cause

This condition may be caused by a calibration within the ECM that is too sensitive, when it compares the vehicle speed and mileage driven to the expected fuel consumption, and then processes that information into the expected fuel level changes.

DO NOT drain and refill the fuel tank, replace the ECM, fuel
level sensor, or the fuel pump module for this condition.

A revised calibration has been released to address this condition.

I have been working for the automotive and engineering industry since 2005, mainly in projects regarding compliance, training and marketing documentation, but also infotainment systems, owner's manuals and technical information.
In addition to my work as translator, I also worked as project manager for translation projects in the infotainment field for a German automotive company. This experience enables me to better understand the needs of my clients and work out the best way to satisfy those needs.
Regarding CAT tools I work with Trados, Transit and Across and have basic working knowledge of Passolo.
