Any experience with ALTA?

Hello literary translators!

I'm thinking of joining the ALTA but wondering if it'll be a good investment or not. Is anyone here a member of the American Literary Translators Association? Has a publisher ever found you on ALTA and consequently hired you to work on a literary project?
