How sad! I hate throwing out things, but what really, REALLY gets to me is throwing out books. I could never ever do that. In fact, right now I'm supposed to be packing stuff up because I'm moving out of this apartment into a new one, and guess what makes up the bulk of my stuff? You guessed it, books!! I used to work in a bookstore, and I would take home anything the owners wanted to throw out. I ended up with some rather...ahh... interesting stuff this way. The weirdest was a scholarly tome on Victorian pornography - not the porn itself, but a scholarly study thereof. Surprisingly, it made fascinating reading, in a weird sort of way.
