The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada, is hosting the Fourth International Conference on the Hispanic Poetry of Europe and the Americas from May 22 through May 25, 2006. The Conference will consist of academic presentations on Hispanic poetry, as well as poetry readings.

The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada, is hosting the Fourth International Conference on the Hispanic Poetry of Europe and the Americas from May 22 through May 25, 2006. The Conference will consist of academic presentations on Hispanic poetry, as well as poetry readings.

Some f the sessions will include translations, or papersconcerning the issues surrounding the translation of poetry. Late submissions -either in the form of readings of translations from or into Spanish, or papers dealing with the subject- may still be considered before 1 April 2006.
