How can we have the majesty of the poem in its magnitude translated?

An den Dingen kann man nichts ändern. Man kann sich nur um sie ringen oder über sie ziehen.

That's the best we can do.

By the way, "mighty" is all right for me. It is impossible to be greater than great, but the Greatness of the Song is mighty, indeed.
