In my copy of German Bible (noch in Fraktur) published in 1948, there stands

"Nähme ich Flügel der Morgenröte und bliebe am äußersten Meer,
so würde mich doch deine Hand daselbst führen und deine Rechte mich halten."

I guess, they have already adopted the new form.
