Different kinds of music Aug 28, 2007

When I work, I prefer not to listen to music. When I ride my bike I listen reggaeton, because it makes me feel more energetic.

In the car I like listening to romantic latin music, but what I love most is to watch Tom Jones' concert at Cardiff Castle and Rod Stewart's Live at Royal Albert Hall. Both are Great...

YMO HASYMO 79/07 Aug 28, 2007

My partner is a huge YMO fan, and today arrived this new YMO CD from Japan. Guess what I'm hearing.

He also runs a record hunter fan site: www.recohan.net

Just artists, albums, cover art, and track lists. No shopping cart, nor mp3s.

For the past few weeks... Aug 28, 2007

I'm very ecclectic when it comes to music. I love to discover music from all over the world but for the past few weeks I've been listening to mostly tango and jazz (Coltrane is my "King"). Although, I just bought 2 Tom Jobin CDs that deserve to be listened to properly.

Cocteau Twins Aug 28, 2007

On my mp3 or on the audiophile headset plugged into the PC, while I translate on the laptop.

They have English-like lyrics, but they don't seem to make much sense, so I focus on the music which helps me focus on my work.

mmhh... let me think Aug 28, 2007

I'd say Amy Winehouse first. I discovered her not so long ago and I'm really into her (leaving aside her personal demons).

And, apart form that, I love listening to Coldplay and any good jazz record, even chill out compilations like "Café del Mar" or the excellent "Hotel Costes" albums, which are more eclectic.

Good thread, btw

Have a nice week!
