While the modern e-walling behind emails and other digitized stuff badly undermines the communication, I use phone for smalltalk only: no insider’s info for the NDA.

@Maxi, if you’ve got a laptop or a PC with UPS, it may be better to use Sleep/Hybrid mode which takes just a few seconds to boot up the system. I’ve been using it no problem since Win7, yet the habits, needs, and exp may differ too.
