I'm a new user of CAT tools. I find the interface and major functions of Swordfish are similar with Heartsome? Does anyone know about it?

Very different Apr 12, 2011

Swordfish has been evolving constantly since it was designed in 2007. That's the main difference.

The list of supported formats is different.

The speed of its internal database is different.

The available technical support is different.

you mean that there is no relation between the two product? May 23, 2011

Thank you for your reply. I notice the differences you mentioned.

But, the basic concepts, working process and the user interfaces are so similar that it's hard to believe Swordfish is not a derivative from Heartsome.

Looking forward to your comments.

Compare and try out for yourself Sep 27, 2011

At one point I was able to try out both products and concluded that Swordfish is way better than its Heartsome equivalent.

Why don't you try both products and choose the one that works best for you?

Regards,

Piotr
