Note personalty vs. realty and re 'veículo* that, in the USA, motor vehicles for tax purposes may well constitute a hybrid of an item of 'real estate' or a *chattel real* vs. a chattel personal. I am guessing that Canadian law is closer to ENG Common Law than US federal law.
