Hola,

meticulous auditing

Explanation:
I would suggest

if you don't fancy "meticulous" as maybe too free, I would suggest "consistent" but I wouldn't go with "constant"

and "trabajo" is implicit

A lazy tax authority/administration won't harvest the same (tax) revenue as an active authority/administration with that exercises consistent auditing.

forgot the / in the last bit... should read "with/that exercises" consistent auditing

I think we have to see your question in consideration of the wider context. This often happens when you have to ask about but specific terms or phrases so...

now we also have to consider if "fisco" is a person or an authority

I would opt for "authority" but let's see what others have to say on this

Notes to answerer
Asker: I agree with you David, "trabajo" is implicit.

Asker: That´s right David; actually "fisco" is the Tax authority not a person.

regular spot-checking for compliance

Explanation:
I don't think field work as in the ProZ ref. 'works' here, as tax (UK Inland Revenue / HMRC) clerks (I have known and working in Central London) may not go out and about at all, but be alerted to tax non-payers and companies who or that submit no tax returns at all, leave an empty tax file and may be caught in a Revenue criminal prosecution net at a later date.

Example sentence(s):
  • Tax compliance checks - what HMRC can check, how the checks are conducted and what you'll need to do.
