I focus mainly on business translations, especially marketing and advertising, due to my professional background. My other specialisms are sport, journalism, HR and travel and tourism.

I bring extensive business experience and knowledge to my translating through my professional business career since 1983. I started in travel and tourism, moved on to marketing management in international education and training, and now act as CEO to an international trade association on a part-time basis, parallel to my translating and writing work. My writing experience spans brochure copy, direct mail, websites, internal and external newsletters, direct marketing as well as feature journalism.

I have translated for a very wide range of clients, including blue-chip companies and the "Frankfurter Allgemeine" newspaper.

I relax playing tennis, sailing, walking, enjoying the arts and keeping up-to-date with current affairs.
