I provide English to Dutch translation services (translation/proofreading/editing/subtitling) to agencies and direct clients. I am a Dutch native speaker, residing in the US, with an international BA degree. In 2013, I started actively translating in the fields of film (subititling), general and business. Living abroad has given me a very good understanding of both US and Dutch culture. As a translator, as well as through my former jobs, I became experienced in international and deadline driven environments and deliver my services friendly and on time. Quality and customer satisfaction are my first priority.

I work flexible hours during weekdays, but also evenings and weekends, and available to work with long-term and urgent projects.

Subtitled/QA reviewed independent movies and documentaries, episodes of TV series, short commercial videos, instructional videos, movie trailers
Translated several market research reports

Work experience:
I worked 7 years for a life insurance company in The Netherlands as a customer relations manager, 3 years at a computer company in The Netherlands as a sales assistant (international environment) and did my internship for a division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Netherlands, where I completed several market researches for Sri Lankan teams and often interpreting was needed (field research).

Education:
BA degree in Economics, International Management, English, Dutch and German
Gymnasium (including Latin, Dutch, English, German, and a couple of years Greek & French)
