Bio

I am a UK-based professional translator (EN<>IT, member of CIOL) with previous experience in bilingual broadcast media. I am also a public service interpreter and have been offering my services within the health and local government sectors in the UK. I am a native Italian speaker, educated at a postgraduate level in Asian studies and languages (Italy) and international policy studies (Australia). I am also an Italian language teacher.

• Over 10 years of translation experience, including subtitles and voice-over. Areas of specialisation: legal, government, public services, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life science, science and technology, media, journalism, business & financial.

• Over 450 hours of interpreting experience for local government and public services, assisting during medical, legal and social services appointments.

• Assisted a wide range of clients within the public and private sectors in Australia, Europe, the USA and Asia.

• 4 years of experience as a bilingual Radio and Online producer for SBS Australia.
