Bio

I am a Graphic Designer by trade
specializing in marketing and advertising campaigns and materials. I am also a
novice photographer, and also a ranch hand (to my spouse.) I type 65 wpm with 99%
accuracy (nobody is perfect, so to speak.) I was born and raised in Manila. I
learned English as a second language starting from preschool to High School.
Apart using Tagalog as our everyday conversation, I was also raised around the
Kapampangans, native of central Luzon just north of Manila, who spoke a dialect
called Kapampangan, hence I speak, read and write the Kapampangan dialect also. I am fairly new in formal translation and transcribing
industry, however, I do believe that for many years in the past, I had been translating
and transcribing for the older Filipino members of the community in Houston,
Texas, who barely spoke or no English at all. In fact, I had translated a lot of
legal documents from English to Tagalog to my older family members here in the
U.S. And that's when it dawned on me: I could actually get paid translating
(lol.) My professional translation and transcription includes, but not limited
to, email and text messages, over the phone conversations, video conferencing
calls, and advertising. I am looking forward to getting more experience in
different fields in this business.
