For the past 22 years I have always been active in some form as a wordsmith, be it as a translator, editor or journalist. In my down time I have been a language trainer and a communication specialist. I love to read and have been known to shriek when a novel has been translated too literally.

Since 2009 I have worked for/with research centers and online magazines for which I have often been the go-to person for corrective surgery when it comes to poorly translated articles.

My proudest moments include the translation of a movie script that launched very successful Directors, proofreading an innovative novel and translating the website of a non profit organisation from French into Dutch and English.
