Sergio Soliz. Journalist and translator specialized in translating documents regarding water and environment. I have worked in different media and cultural organizations. For more than 10 years I have been dedicated to translating and editing documents for different national and international enterprises.

Since 2002 I have been translating technical information from the International Centre of Water and the Environment: 'Suez Environement' for its branches in South America and Spain for four years. Likewise, I have also been in charge of texts related to politics, tourism and education.

I also have a wealth of training in the use of software orientated to translation work (Trados Workbench, TagEditor, MultiTerm) and an important database which allows me to proceed in a very precise way. Finally, I am also trained in the use of software such as Dreamweaver and Adobe Pothoshop, which enable me to translate material from and into different formats.

COMMUNICATIONS & MEDIA

2003 Independent production and direction of a three minute video against paedophilia. The story was based on a script provided by the client. The video was exhibited for a month in the Santiago's metro system.

2002 - World Health Organization / AICED. Writing, production and direction of five short films that were part of a national campaign against AIDS.
