My name is Jinyi, and I live in China. Chinese is my native language, and I have been using English as the working language since my first job dating back to 2005. Translation and interpretation were my main responsibilities in the first 3 years of my career, where I have gained experience in the area of the oil and gas industry. An opportunity in 2009 became a turning point for me, and since then I have worked on information management systems for over 9 years, including 3 years in Dubai. Working in the software industry has taught me to be a fast learner and a problem solver. After I left Dubai in early 2018, I spent most of the year traveling alone in China to explore the cultural differences and seek traces of the past. In 2019, I started to prepare myself to be a freelance translator/interpreter and I have worked on a few translation jobs from different areas. I am working towards my goal to specialize in one or more fields mentioned below. Areas in which I have experience include: - Drilling and workover in the Oil and Gas industry;
