Bio

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

I am an English<>Spanish translator with over 16 years of proven experience. I became a Sworn Translator in 2003 and I am also certified by the US and UK Embassies in my country.

Most of my translations have been for the legal and pharmaceutical industries, I have worked for four law firms and five pharmaceutical companies.   Additionally, my professional experience has been with fashion and textiles, electronics, and household appliances.

I provide translation services for the pharmaceutical industry on a weekly basis; I mostly translate the following types of documents: Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product, Power of Attorney, Free Sale Certificate, Good Manufacturing Practices, leaflets, Distribution Agreements, and quality certificates issued by different institutions among others.

Throughout my professional life, I have had the opportunity to work with the Apparel Sourcing Show exhibit, The Apparel and Textile Committee, GUESS?, Rock and Republic, Samsung, JVC, Toshiba, Black and Decker, and Remington brands.

Additionally, I have had the opportunity to be a part of the Presidential Elections organizing committee on five occasions.  I was responsible for the integration of more than 2,600 ballot-receiving boards (that's around ten thousand people!).

As a translator, I have also translated medical, marketing, and IT projects; I have also translated websites in .txt files.  I have worked for Centro Dental de Especialistas (Dentistry), Interven (Medical devices such as stents and catheters), Yalamanchili Americas (software development), and Ivolv (website development) among others.

I am also the appointed translator for the Sustainable Response to HIV in Central America project, which is an 18-month project funded by USAID in Central America.  I am responsible for translating into English milestone reports and all related documents for the project.

Recently, I finished a specialization in subtitling and script adaptation for dubbing.

On a personal level, I love cooking and sports and I am looking for opportunities to translate in these two fields.

I would like to hear from you, please feel free to send me a message or contact me at [email protected]
