This article evaluates a translation of the poem named "Smile" based on Khomeijani Farahani’s (a Persian translator and researcher) evaluation framework. The translation is evaluated regarding to its 1) Accuracy 2) Formal loyalty 3) Naturalness 4) Consistency 5) Unity
Each stitch is evaluated separately regarding the above-mentioned criteria of the framework. It is concluded that the message of the poem has been imparted but the translation lacks the feeling and the tone embedded in the poem.
