We have just been greenlighted for providing online English/Spanish interpretation for 28 webinars/events that will span from January 2021 – September 2021. These interpreting events will involve discussion of public-school matters in the United States. For this reason, preference will be given to linguists who have some interpreting experience involving public-school education in the United States or who possess some familiarity with public education in the United States.
There will be 25 webinars at a length of 90 minutes each and three 5-hour events on specific dates and at specific times that remain to be determined. A one-hour rehearsal time for each event will be required, and participating interpreters will be expected to review relevant slides prior to the events to prepare for their role.
Considering the substantial volume of interpretation required over the specified time period, what rates could you offer for this service, assuming that you would work with an interpretation partner to support one another at each event?
