My translation experience falls down into 4 main categories:
* Medical Device (technical and user manuals, IFU, medical software and hardware)
* Clinical Trials (protocols, protocol synopses, ICF, patient cards, contracts with Investigators/Institutions, other related material)
* Biomedical Research (research findings, medical statistics)
* Patient Records (every kind of medical records, including handwritten notes, surgical techniques, etc.)
Over the past years, I translated probably more than 1 MM words, mostly into Serbian. However, since back-translation is a common QA tool, I translate from Serbian into English as well, with internal (or external, if available) proofreading by native English speaker.
Since 2007, I run small translation agency based in Belgrade, Serbia, that specializes in medical translations, as well as South Slavic languages, mostly Serbian. We are currently expanding service to local biomedical research community and medical device retailers. It offers us unique opportunity to get into direct contact with end users of our translation products and refine our techniques and optimize the quality of our service.
