I spent my 20s living in Japan and studying Japanese intensively. Since then I have accumulated over 20 years of experience in medicine, pharmaceuticals and biotech. Enjoy working with innovative companies on their cutting-edge technologies. Have worked with Hitachi, Sony, Android and Google. Also work with UK biotech companies helping them to create new corporate training videos, voice-overs for websites and transcription for Japanese documentary subtitling. Have transcribed and created subtitles for several BBC and C4 documentaries. Also, work as a business interpreter for the UK government dealing with maritime navigational issues. Recent interpreting experience also includes a week-long assignment working with Japanese and UK based engineers tweaking an internal combustion engine to maximise fuel economy.
