Hello,

I am a German native with a passion for precision and language. I have acquired an MA in Sinology at SOAS, University of London and have spent three years living in China.

I read both traditional and simplified Characters and have a proficient level of classical Chinese.

As a translator I pay attention to the intercultural context and emphasise aesthetic and correct phrasing. I am highly interested in delicate texts where details matter such as advertisements or subtitles.

Furthermore I am experienced in web-localization, especially using CMS such as TYPO3 or Wordpress.
