I always perform translations with the intended reader in mind. For texts to sound natural, convey their intended meaning and fulfill their purpose, it is imperative to never work on auto-pilot.

My specialty is the games of chance industry (general gambling and casino, slots, blackjack and other card games, roulette, dice games, poker, sports betting, esports) and the more broad entertainment industry (video games, TV, celebrity news, etc.). I also have a wide experience in marketing-related subjects thanks to my previous full-time job. As long as I feel like I can do a good job, I also happily take on assignments for other topics.

I am a certified vendor of multiple translation agencies, the most famous of which is SDL. I also have my own copy and am licensed for SDL Trados Studio. 

I am a native Dutch speaker. Living in Belgium and having worked for a website with a lot of readers from the Netherlands, I know which words and sayings to avoid to make a text sound natural to both audiences at the same time. 

Thanks to a native English grandmother, my education and a big passion for languages, my level of written English is not too far off from native speakers.
