Source text - English SOUAIRI, Lebanon — In the makeshift tent settlements that dot fields and villages in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, Syrian refugees are digging in, pouring concrete floors, installing underground sewerage and electric wires, and starting businesses and families.
What they are not doing is packing up en masse to leave, despite exhortations from Syrian and Lebanese officials, who have declared that safety and security are on the march in neighboring Syria and that it is time for refugees to go home.

Source text - English The evolution of videoconference technologies has led to two new modalities of interpreting.
On the one hand, videoconferences are used to link remotely located interpreters to the primary participants.
This is generally referred to as REMOTE INTERPRETING (RI)
On the other hand, interpreters are used in videoconferences between parties who do not share the same language
This is termed videoconference interpreting (VCI) and comprises different configurations:
the interpreter can be either co-located with one of the parties, or work from a separate site.

از یک سو، ویدیو کنفرانس ها برای ایجاد ارتباط میان مترجمان خارج از سالن و شرکت کنندگان حاضر در سالن به کار می روند.
به طورکلی به این عمل، ترجمه شفاهی از راه دور گفته می شود.

Bio
I studied Translation methodology and strategies as well as different types of translation, interpreting including: remote interpreting, video conference, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, etc. We explored different types of texts including economical, political, literary, etc. I also attended 3 workshops regarding translation and the use of computer for the purpose thereof.
Right now, I am studying "Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication" for masters in HSE university of Moscow, ranked among 150 top universities in Linguistics. So I would mingle the knowledge of linguistics to translation and gain more professional training in translation in the next 2 years. Along with that I will improve my knowledge of Russian.
Besides experiences of translation I had at university, I have been active in the market too. I have worked for a commercial company, writing letters on ordering products from foreign companies. I have also professionally worked in 2 official translation bureaus, translating official documents including ID cards, title deeds, power of attorneys, etc.
