Bio

I'm a freelance translator (ES,PT,FR> EN) specialising in marketing and education texts. I use SDL Trados Studio 2019. My professional background includes working in-house at a large translation company, focusing particularly on marketing texts in the areas of retail, hospitality, e-commerce and tourism. I have experience translating different text types in these areas, ranging from internal communications to annual reports and webpages. In addition, my extensive experience in teaching English as a second language, in Spain and here in the UK, has enabled me to specialise in materials relating to education. I create teaching resources and share these online for other teachers and I also offer a proofreading service for academic texts. In my free time I have supported several NGOs with voluntary translations and I am a member of Translators Without Borders.
