Bio
23 years professional experience in localization: quality assurance, terminology, and technical translation.

From summer 2004 I run my own business, parasol-words and offer translation/localization and language services from English, German and French into Italian.

Key areas of expertise: IT (software, hardware, networks, etc.), CAD/CAM, telecommunications, marketing, accounting and business programs, multimedia, automotive, solar technologies.

Main services: translation/localization, language quality assurance, revision and editing, proof reading, linguistic consultancy, creation of guidelines, globalization.


Previous experience:
2 months work experience in Nintendo of Europe, Frankfurt, as onsite freelance translator.
7 years work experience in Microsoft Ireland as Italian Language Specialist and Terminologist.
1 year work experience as freelance translator for a software localization agency in Italy.
