plank on timber指美国极为普遍的用原木或者木桩搭架，外用木板的房屋结构。现在大多数的普通住宅还是采用同样的结构。和中国传统上的框架式结构差不多。

这座五层、板架结构的制袋厂(大约建于1925年）以及和它相连的九层建筑——6号和8号楼——也同时进行了修缮。
