Kommentar - rosenträd
"To be a true rosewood, a tree must be a member of genus Dalbergia in theLeguminosae family. Lots of things that aren't true rosewood are called rosewood...And many rosewoods have similar names. For example, is a wood identified as "Brazilian rosewood" a piece of Dalbergia nigra (one of thescarcest varieties), or is it one of the many other varieties of rosewood that grow in Brazil? The term "palisander" originally referred to the most desirable pieces of any of the rosewoods, the ones with the darkest purplish colorings. "Palisander" is still used, especially in Europe, to refer to any
wood that resembles rosewood.
