Hello!

I am a sworn translator of English, Spanish & Romanian since 2003.

Although my mother tongue is Romanian I grew up listening to English and learning English since I was 7. I even chose English to write my blog, as I felt more comfortable with it. It just felt natural to me.

On the other hand, I have been living in Spain since 2005, so after years of studying this language, the experience of living and working here as a professional translator allows me to say I am almost bilingual in Spanish, also.

My certifications are:
* May 2002: Certificado DELE Superior – Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language. Official diploma, certifying the degree of competence and command of Spanish, conferred by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Social Politics and Sports and in collaboration with the University of Salamanca. Spanish Diploma Level C2 (Highest) certifies the linguistic competence needed to cope with situations that require a very knowledge of the language and cultural customs manifested through it.

*September 2003: License to practice as a sworn translator of Spanish awarded by the Romanian Ministry of Justice.

*10 January 2009: TOEFL iBT – Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language. Last version of TOEFL, on the Internet. Score: 111 points (maximum 120 points).

I am a very formal and organized person. I love accuracy and languages are my life.
