German term
Abstreifthrombus
German to English
Medical
Medical (general)
VE (Vorerkrankungen) Nephroblastomatose bds, Wilms Tumor links (C64), Z. nach nierenerhaltender Resektion bds.(C92.4), bekannter Abstreifthombus linke V. jugularis interna (I82.81).
The "Thombus" is taken from the source and is obviously a misspelling for thrombus. But I get zero hits from "Abstreifthrombus". Could this mean a detached clot (thrombus)? Any help would be appreciated!

dislodged thrombus
I like dislodged thrombus as may occur inadvertently during certain endovascular examination techniques such as PTCA involving recanalization, stent placement, etc.
See the references for the phrase Abstreifen des Thrombus.

It may be best to adopt the ICD wording
ICD I82.81:
Embolism and thrombosis of the [in this case] left internal jugular vein
https://www.icd10data.com/ICD10CM/Codes/I00-I99/I80-I89/I82-...

: What makes you hit on 'embolism' here? And what about the 'Abstreifen' thing...?

I just adopted the official ICD code's wording.

Much less likely, this might be a transcription error for 'Abscheidungsthrombus'. Try google it, but it does not make very much sense to me.
