Spanish term

el depacho

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Business/Commerce (general)
Here goes the text:

- Se realiza evaluación de Coeficiente de fricción y resistencia del sello en el laboratorio en el de la Orden de Producción según el Plan de Inspección del proceso de corte
- Se cuenta con plan de inspección del proceso de corte (cartilla visual)
- Se registra los resultados en el formato XYU, si hubiera alguna desviación no se realiza el depacho. Se coloca en en área de PNC.

I think the term is mispelled and might be referring to "despacho" instead. However, even that leaves me unclear with the text. I'm thinking of rendering as (starting from "si hubiere...") "In the event of any deviations, the process will not take but be placed in PNC (status?)" [depending what PNC may stand for]. Like in the other posts today, this is in a risk analysis on a spreadsheet (from Peru).

Discussion

Charles Davis May 2, 2017:
Desviación = deviation Standard term of art in quality control. See e.g.:

"Deviation Handling and Quality Risk Management"
http://www.who.int/immunization_standards/vaccine_quality/ri...

Different context but same concept.
Joshua Parker May 2, 2017:
Despacho, surely? = Delivery or shipment
"departure (from the norm...)" might also be a good way of rendering "desviación".
Charles Davis May 1, 2017:
Hi Seth I think PNC is producto no conforme.
