interpreting a word count report from memoQ

According to the following report, how many words remain to be translated in the document ?

All that is not 100-101% May 10

Well, basically 100% and 101% matches are "translated", but you will have to apply the matches and see them in context, which of course takes a bit of time. It is an usual practice to charge for those too for this reason, normally at a rate that is a fraction of the full rate.

After that, anything in the 95-99% marches and below is to be translated, of course with a different level of effort depending on the context, the quality of past translations in the TM, etc. Normally you woul... See more

According to the above report, what is the aproximate number of words that remain to be translated ?

"Counts" table May 10

Well, look at the 1st, Counts table. "Not started" is what you are looking for.

Well, roughly it is correct. If you sum up all the non-100% segments, you get 111+224+235+497+149=1216.
1216 is even lower than 1244. Probably the latter includes 28 number-only segments or segments that only contain tags without any translatable text. Or there is something else that makes the difference. Weirdly your two screenshots show different Repetitions (314 vs 482).
