Analysis and Cleaning options do not work

Dear colleagues,

I have the following problem with Trados:

The cleaning and analysis options do not work. The Workbench displays the following error message: "Folder does not exist, has been removed or renamed".

For the time being, I clean the files with the option in Word (the trick doesn't always work actually).

Has anyone got an idea?

The problem is related to the log file settings - please use the forum search: there have been numerous discussions on this issue in this forum.

yet another user with a log file problem Nov 29, 2007

The problem is related to the log file settings

This problem has been around for such a long time, and has been mentioned so many times (again and again and again) that I can just say: can pulease somebody out there we-all-know-where fix it??

With time this has slowly turned into a kind of an in-your-face error.

Before pressing Cleanup or Analysis, click on Log File and create a new file. This should do the trick.
