O YouTube removeu mais quatro vídeos do canal do presidente Jair Bolsonaro "por violação das políticas de desinformação médica sobre a Covid" nesta sexta-feira (23). Neles, ele recomenda remédios que não têm comprovação médica para a doença.
Na última segunda (23), um vídeo de Bolsonaro já tinha sido tirado do ar pela plataforma por esse motivo. Assim, seriam 5 violações em menos de uma semana, o que, segundo a política de uso da plataforma, poderia resultar em suspensão.
Mas o YouTube diz que não tomou a medida porque existe um "período de carência", uma vez que as regras sobre conteúdo com desinformação sobre a Covid na plataforma foram atualizadas recentemente. | Translation - Portuguese
Youtube has removed four more videos from the president Jair Bolsonaro’s channel “for breach of medical misinformation policies on Covid” in this Friday (23). In the videos, he recommends medicines that have not medical evidence for the disease.
Last Monday, a video of Bolsonaro had already been taken down by the platform for this reason. Thus, there would be 5 violations in less than a week, which, according to the platform’s use policy, could result in suspension.
But, Youtube says it did not take action because there is a “grace period”, as the rules on content with disinformation about Covid on the platform have been updated recently.
