Bio

My passion for words has been the guideline in my life.

In my early twenties I trained as a translator/interpreter for three years, then I switched to social studies and after graduating as a social worker I moved from Belgium to Spain where I have been living ever since.

In Spain I have mainly worked as a translator, interpreter and language teacher. 

At the moment I work full-time as a freelance translator.


 I spend most of my time:

-Translating, copywriting and transcreating (NLBE/NLNL) for a major European online retailer. Products: fashion and beauty (weekly edits, campaign updates etc.)

-Transcreating and copywriting (NLBE/NLNL) for a major global advertising company, for the e-commerce of a big multinational. Products ranging from beauty and personal care to food and homecare.

-Translating/transcreating for a global consumer goods company that designs infant and toddler toys and products

-Translating/transcreating for a global manufacturer of solar equipment (marketing content)

I have a particular interest in creative marketing projects, literature, novels and copywriting.
