My previous professional background is in the field of music and education. For the past eight years I have been an entrepreneur, tuning pianos and giving piano lessons for a living. In 2020 I graduated as Master of Education, specialising in music education. Since then, I have done substitute work both as a music teacher and a class teacher.

In addition to these, I have co-owned a natural health clinic with my mother for eight years. In the clinic my job consisted of customer service and administrative work.

Before attending university, I worked for two years as a consecutive Finnish-English-Finnish interpreter for a Dutch natural practitioner.

In my own time I identify as a fiction author. I am working on a fantasy novel series in English. Despite Finnish being my native language, English is without a doubt my language of literature. When it comes to writing, I find it most natural to express myself in English.

Both translating and interpreting come naturally to me. I am excited to expand my career to professional freelance translating and interpreting, to widen my knowledge of language and to help others by lending them my experience and knowledge.
