I'm sure you must do this often in your daily jobs. Can you tell me what is the best way to update your TM when you receive your translation corrected from the client? I mean, importing the new bilingual file but overwriting the units of your TM, since they are not good any more. I want to overwrite them, not to create double entries! I don't dare to touch too much these functions without an expert advise.

Unfortunately the only way I can be sure that the old segments will never come up again is to edit the memory (Resource Manager, select your memory, click Edit), filtering by the starting and final dates you worked on the job and deleting the segments shown. Then click Commit in the edit dialog so that the deleted segments (which temporarily disappear from the grid) get actually deleted.

Then you can add the corrected bilingual file (as a bilingual .DOC file; change the format if needed) to your project, select all segments, and confirm. This feeds the memory with the customer's edited segments.
