I often use Dragon in a local machine while I remote to my main machine in the office, and whatever I say in my local machine gets into memoQ in the remote machine, which is already a tricky setup. It works beautifully.
I don't see a reason why your setup should not work. Have you already tried? Have you experienced any difficulty?
