a new version (Multifultor 3), which can be downloaded here. Has anyone been using it?
Only insiders have used it yet. I've released & uploaded version 3 just one hour ago.
New:
(1) Russian UI, in addition to English, Spanish, French & German
(2) .tbx files (Microsoft, IATE, ...) can be searched directly, with sophisticated wildcards and – an option for specialists – with Regex.
(3) Some minor bugs fixed/added | | | Michael Beijer United Kingdom Local time: 02:48 Membro Dutch to English + ... I'm quite happy with IWS 3 | Oct 13, 2015 |
Downloaded and installed it, as I always do when a new version comes out, but I noticed that it is still restricted to using its own little browser, rather than allowing you to use any browser you want, like IWS (which I vastly prefer).
I set IWS 3 to open in Opera (which is a fast browser, and not my default work browser; I then use a good ad blocker, which is not possible in Multifultor). OTOH, you don’t mind CafeTran using its "own little browser" to display hits from web search

I don't use the built in web search feature in CT because there is no way (yet) to comfortably select a large number of searches when starting a new project. However, it is in fact possible to display the searches inside CafeTran, or have them open in a browser of your choice. Unlike memoQ (and Multifultor), which force you to use their little browsers. | | | Insiders vs. outsiders | Oct 13, 2015 |

I’m not an insider, but I’m usually well informed, which is why I knew about its existence
I intend to give it a (new) try and compare it to IWS 3/5.

... right in the DashBoard:

Yep.

Solution: Ad blockers which use Windows' hosts file are browser-independent and block under all circumstances. http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm
BTW 1: Multifultor has a checkbox for blocking some (only some, I admit) ads.
BTW 2: I h've got an Internet router which keeps a customizable blacklist and filters outside of the PC. Many people don't know that their router offers this. Sometimes it is called "child lock" but of course it can block ad servers as well as XXX servers.

Hi Michael,
Can you tell me which ad block program you use? Thank you.
