How to open a IDLM file

I received a IDLM file which has to be translated. When I try to open it in Studio 2019, I get the message: The selected IDML file was created by an unsupported version of Adobe Indesign and will not be processed.

The strange thing is, I never had problems opening IDML files for this client before.

Anybody has a solution?

It's possible that the client had updated their version of the program to a newer one since they sent you files previoiusly.

...you should be able to tick a box at the very top of the options list that allows you to process unsupported files. This video:
