Yellow target segments, very slow Trados

Hello!

I received a machine translation post editing task in Trados. All the target segments are marked yellow and Trados is suddenly extremely slow. There is currently just one TM attached and it’s not very large. What could be the reason of that sluggishness and can anything be done about it?

This highlighting means that all segments have comments applied to the entire text of each segment. You can either hover over the target segment and read the tooltip or right-click and select Edit Comment to see its content.

If you think that you don't need those comments, go to the Comments tab right above the editor and click "Delete all target comments in active document". It is not common to have comments on each segment. Most probably your client used a wrong conversion workflo... See more

Thank you so much! The comments were automatically generated garble, so I simply deleted them. No more yellow segments, everything is much faster.
