I'd like to get some suggestions/recommendations for a reliable software to convert Speech (in Spanish) to text (in Spanish). It should have a feature that enables speed adjustment (I need it to practice shorthand speed).

@Virginia, you seem to either confuse, or need both speech recognition to digitize as text what you say (considering the diction, environment, vocabulary, and hardware), and speech recognition to digitize as text what you say (considering the diction, environment, vocabulary, and hardware), and speech synthesis to make PC read a text aloud (considering the voice engine and settings ).

You didn't mention your OS or localization, however there're may always be some nuances.


While dictaphone (or a mobile) may help revealing one's weak spots, if you really need practicing, you'd rather find Spanish speakers to communicate with nearby or via Skype.
